The Best Western White Columns Inn hotel is located in Thomson, Georgia with easy on and off access to Interstate 20 and just few miles from the Premier PGA golf course in the world, Augusta National -home of The Masters®. Our hotel boasts amenities including: The Plantation House Restaurant and Stirrup Cup Lounge on site, complimentary high-speed Internet access, whirlpool rooms and suites, gazebo with sundeck at our outdoor swimming pool, walking track, playground area for the kids, volleyball, badminton, picnic area with grills, plenty of parking for all vehicle types, and over 100 boat hookups. Fox chasing in all the finest British tradition takes place twice a week from November to March. We are the host hotel for many softball, baseball and fishing tournaments, as well as equestrian events throughout the year. We are also affiliated with five different golf courses nearby for those wanting to play the links. The hotel is built in old Southern style with original oil paintings of local historical homes hanging in the lobby and dining room. The Wilson family members built own and operate the inn. History and tradition are important here, and the Wilson's have lived in Thomson for seven generations.
