The commercial fishermen of Del Norte County provide the world with a much-needed supply of shrimp, crab, and bottom fish. A crab permit is needed to catch crab, except that the B Street Pier where fishing is free. Stroll around the marina and meet up close the monstrous seals and sea lions as they bask on the dock in the sun and cavort in the water.
